A SUPER HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our brilliant performing Low-Impact Jazzers and Silver Swans! You just took the whole day in your stride, worked professionally and gave absolutely everything on stage. I couldn’t ask for more!
Thank you SO much to Beth at Dance Reading for creating this platform for our dancers. As a non-competitive company of performers in their over 50s, we find there are few opportunities around for us the take to the stage. Not only do events like this allow our ladies to perform as the true dancers that they are, but with the more audiences who are exposed to mature dancers onstage, the more it normalises the idea that ANYONE can dance. BANISH THE AGEIST STIGMA!
Well done to all the other wonderful groups who performed. What an array! And loved catching up with my teacher friends who I hadn’t seen in aaaaages!
